I read the semgroup thing first from Butler

I never expected to see it reported in the mainstream, and in fact it was given a pass
Now comes another piece of data - the recent drops of Gold & Silver prices coincided with huge new short positions

I don't expect this to be reported either, and I fully expect no response, or a substantively non-responsive "response" from CFTC/Crimex.
it IS possible these might be legitimate, though. I suppose these banks could have sold some legitimate Silver instruments to customers and hedged the position on the COMEX.
