Re: Robert Fisk at Frontline
Typical brit twit, so full of half truths. Good ole Robert knew Israel was going to invade Lebanon when Hizbullah captured two Israeli soldiers. The rest of the world knew Israel was getting ready to invade Lebanon a year before, when Israel got Syrian anti-aircraft missiles kicked out of the Beka Valley. Israel certainly wasn't going to fly into Lebanon with anti-aircraft missiles there. These weren't the first two Israeli's captured, Israel and Lebaanon have been doing prisoner exchanges for a long time. Israel still holds over 10K Lebanese in prison from Israel's last occupation. Even some speculation that the Israeli's were actually captured in Lebanon. Things certainly aren't proceding to the plans that the US/UK/I had made for Lebanon well over a couple of years ago."Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one."
