    Sapiens,

You might be interested in contributing to her Model-Economy wiki -

These Wikispaces have been created as a means for members to communicate, collaborate and share ideas for designing sustainable systems for the Third Millennium – monetary, political, agricultural, educational, economic, etc. John Gelles initiated the project, Ellen Brown is the organizer, and Reece suggested the model:

    * "Transparency is the key to a new money model – a thousand minds working on the system just like the Linux computer model so that as glitches arise they can be solved over time. The money structure would be an evolving process moving beneath the watchful gaze of the ‘thousand eyes.’"

      Thanks for posting this.

I highly recommend her book of the same name.

Web of Debt by Ellen Hodgson Brown.

Great video. I particularly like the last suggestion in which we should have a state banks issue credit, but I doubt the finance industry and thus our government will be supportive of such an idea.

But if States issued their own credit, then that would mean they would be issuing their own money and not federal reserve notes. Hmm, is possible unless they broke away from the rest of the country?
