    Feb 17 - Japan Finance Minister Shoichi Nakagawa says he will resign, after being forced to deny being drunk at a G7 news conference.

    The move, a fresh blow to the widely unpopular Prime Minister Taro Aso, could take weeks as Nakagawa intends to stay until budget bills are passed.






    I wonder what would have happened 70 years ago ...

      I thought getting drunk was the whole purpose of a G7 meeting! What's the fuss?

          when a G7 finance minister get drunk before a public televised conference, you know things are bad...
