      At least he is telling people not to go into FIRE, but they aren't hiring anyway

      What do you advise students coming out of school?

      I think this country needs more people who are going to be entrepreneurs, more people in manufacturing, more people going into sectors that are going to lead to long-run economic growth. When the best minds of the country are all going to Wall Street, there is a distortion in the allocation of human capital to some activities that become excessive and eventually inefficient.

        Dow at 5000 at some point (per EJ). I think lower 3800 as a cave in.

        I am buying puts on the reits - SPG VNO FRT MAC and IRY

        along with puts on

          Oh, and "we may end up having to nationalize a good part of the banking system." Can't forget about that.

            I failed to short real estate back when EJ suggested it, and now that they've all dropped so far, I'm afraid to go there. What gives you the confidence for this?

            Also, why do you choose puts rather than shorting? I dabbled in options, but didn't like the time deadlines.
