    Here is the clip:

I love Mrs. Wolf, she has a lot of courage and yes, guts.

    Thanks for posting mikedev10.

There have always been two parties in the US since the late 19th century:

      Rockefellers and Morgans

If what Naomi Wolf says is true (we are past the stroke of midnight in terms of a closed society) then what can be done? It takes time for people to understand themselves.

I may just be talking about my age bracket and lower. I was born in the 80s.
For this reason (AKA how hard must one shake the somnlonent, or alternately, how hard must one slap the hysterical) I find the clip profoundly disturbing . . .

Things won't "change" because life here is still really, really good compared to what most people endure.

You see an insurrection in Brazil, India, China, etc? They have it worse off than we do, yet they're placid(for all I&P's)

There's been numerous reports of many Indian farmers committing suicide, albeit a rather personal form of protest, and somewhere in the neighborhood of 70,000 plus labor insurrections in China. I don't think people quickly compare their current level of prosperity with the rest of the world when their personal world is crumbling. In absolute terms most Americans live better than Roman Emperors. Hell, ice cream alone trumps a bunch of grapes!

I tend to agree with this: PPP needs to be considered in the equation.

i like her... brilliant and kinda nuts.

look. before the feds come to get ya the locals have to be under their thumb.

look around you. how many local cops in your town do you know who are going to expose you to bad fed cops?

but keep up the vigil. it is healthy.

In the past, when I listened to Naomi Wolf, I thought she made some good points, but I also thought that she was over the top sometimes. See below. Maybe she was right and I was wrong.

The folks arrested had not actually DONE anything yet, they were still in the organizing phase when they were arrested and charged with terrorism.

"A University student arrested preemptively before the Republican National Convention will be one of the first people prosecuted under a terrorism clause in the Minnesota Patriot Act since it was passed in 2002.

Cultural studies junior Max Specktor is charged with conspiracy to riot in furtherance of terrorism.

Monday, Specktor’s hearing was postponed until at least November.

Specktor and seven other defendants facing the same charge will be heard together, and face a maximum of seven and a half years of jail time.

The eight suspects, calling themselves the RNC 8, plan to plead not guilty to the charges, defendant Nathanael Secor said."

protesting is pointless. If you really want to take the system down, americans need to spend as little money as possible: the shadow bankers will wither and die then.

then again, how would thousands of short, balding men get laid by attractive women... hmm... i guess we need some nubile creatures prepared to sacrifice themselves for the cause!:p

Of course they were charged with conspiracy to riot in furtherance of terrorism.

Watch this clip about FEMA from 2001:
