We agree with the spirit of this video (see American Socialism). Do not bail out the banks before fixing the underlying problems. Let stronger, better run banks take over the assets of weaker and poorly run banks. Do not repeat the errors made by Japan and allow the US banking system to deteriorate into a zombie banking system supported by government. In new legislation, do keep the energy tax provisions to help the US economy off imported oil.
