Cool indeed.

As expected with all new technology, the current price is very high for mass market adoption.

It will be interesting to see which high value markets/applications adopt it first before it becomes widely available.

Very nice. Lasers are used much the same way for stripping insulation from wire, I had the chance to buy and install one back in 2007. Slick as a whistle. The laser would burn through the insulation, but reflect harmlessly off the metal wire, so it would never nick or harm the wire. We were manufacturing heat trace wire, and had to strip one inch windows every foot or so down a 500 foot pair of 12 AWG wires.
