Bitcoin's Meteoric Rise in Value: 583900% per Year

What's that crazy chart that looks like the foot of a hockey stick about?
As you can see from this chart...

One Bitcoin was trading for about $0.06 around October 7, 2011. And now.... one Bitcoin is selling for about $20.00 as of June 7, 2011. If our math is correct, that's about a 33,332% Gain in only 8 months.... and, if extrapolated out... at that rate of growth... over the course of one year... That would be an annual return on investment of 583900%. (source)**
I wonder how many people are kicking themselves they missed this investment. A year ago you could buy bitcoins for 1/4 of a cent. 10,000 BTC for $25. As I post this that would be worth $280,000, according to coin.ly

One thing I've learned about bubbles, just because you think they're way overvalued, doesn't mean they can't become ten times more overvalued before they collapse.

My son has some. He wishes he had more. He knows people who have 10's of thousands. The earlier adopters are crowing and debating the ethicasy of their good fortune.

They better convert that bitcoin into real coin (and pay their taxes) asap. It will not be allowed to continue.
