War and Prison Privitization - 2 Sides of Same Coin
Thanks for posting this, hopefully a lot of people will watch it. Most Americans probably have no idea on the extent that mercenaries are used in Iraq, because the US media rarely touches this topic. As General Smedley Butler said in his 1930's book, "War is a Racket". His solution was to make war a break-even venture for war contracters, with no profits.
War and incarcerating citizens are 2 functions that should be solely managed by the government. Just as war contracters have a profit incentive to exploit and even encourage conflict, so privitized prison corporations have a profit incentive to encourage incarceration. Subtley, of course, by backing harsher sentences and more criminalized behavior, by indirectly influencing state and federal legislators. Catherine Austin Fitts wrote a great expose on her experieces as a Wall Street investment banker in the '80's, during the initial prison privitization wave. "Dillon, Read, & Co and the Aristocracy of Prison Profits". http://www.dunwalke.com/

Re: Have We Had Enough Yet?
This, to me, is an indictment almost more of the mainstream media more than anything. As much as the current administration is the worst in US history, the media has absolutely let down the country and the world by being entertainers and not journalists.
