I'm noticing more and more Cranberries here in Germany, first they were only dried but now you can buy them in a lot of markets.
Cranberries 'sexy' in Europe; state exports of berry soaring
About 25% of the U.S. cranberry crop, to which Wisconsin
is the largest contributor, is exported. That compares with around 5% a decade ago, says Tom Lochner, Wisconsin State Cranberry Growers Association executive director.

U.S. cranberry exports have increased nearly 18% over the past year, according to the Cranberry Marketing Committee. Wisconsin accounts for more than half of the world's supply of cranberries.

Germany was one of the first overseas markets where the industry-funded Cranberry Marketing Committee focused in 1999. It's now one of the industry's stronger markets, and growers are looking to branch out, Lochner said.
"There's opportunity to build demand," he said.
The fall harvest is expected to yield 4 million barrels of cranberries from Wisconsin bogs, Lochner said. While that's about 10% less than the 2008 record crop of 4.4 million barrels, it still would be the second-largest harvest for the state's growers, he said.
