    Answer: Mike Ruppert

    Track Record: Judge for yourself

You want a trip to wonderland, Mike Rupperts world is the biggest / scariest roller coaster in the fair ground.

My opinion: Mike has done some good work but is seriously damaged goods, lots of self loathing, dooming and peak oiling. In his defense I would say the stuff he was investigating and publishing, probably put a big target on his head, but I don't really know that much about him, beyond what he has published himself, to say for sure.

Catherine Austin Fitts and himself have been known to collaborate in the past. So make what you will of that. For me I really respect some of the work Catherine has done and is doing, many here would disagree I think.

If we turn the clock back to the early 1980's when Robert Beckman wrote The Downwave, you will discover that it was a similar format, a prediction of a total collapse .... that did not happen. But that does not exclude the fact that Beckman might have been correct to make the prediction. What actually happened is that by making the prediction, he triggered the thinking that in fact prevented the total collapse. Something foreseen, is worked around and solutions are discovered that prevent the collapse.

So my take on the film is that while it may well have some merit, because of the fact of its existence, it will in fact trigger the thinking to prevent the collapse, rather than simply warn us of an expected event.
