Devastatingly funny, wry, wicked, and hilarious. These are some of the things that have been said about Michael Lewis's writing.

Michael Lewis is the author of several of the largest blockbuster bestsellers on the cultural mainstream in the last two decades, including Moneyball, a #1 hardcover and paperback national bestseller, The New New Thing, which explored the surreal world of technology, venture capital, and Internet bubble and some of its most colorful players, Liar's Poker, which exposed Wall Street's trickery and deceit based in part on his own experience working as an investment banker. Each one of Lewis's books are consider classics. They have changed society's thinking while providing a gentle and amusing laugh while blowing the lid off the realities of Wall Street, Major League Baseball, and technology and Internet booms. Lewis is considered one of the great and mega-bestselling authors of our time. He will soon be releasing his long awaited book Home Game, which takes Lewis's wit and humor to the family. This will be an evening to remember.

Agreed WDCRob, Lewis is an awesome read; obviously more entertainment than empirical research, not that he ever pretended otherwise.

To complement my previous post, below is Lewis on GPS with Fareed Zakaria on June 7, 2009 (16min.):

Thank you for the CNN interview. It's nice to see MSM speaking clearly and plainly about the reality of things. A good find.
