    The tone is more conciliatory, anyway

    Mish is dancing on a fine line -
    for years he claimed the FED would not be able to do anything

    Every time the FED does something, he screams bloody murder, as if all the FED's moves were not telegraphed many years ahead of time.

    He has to create an out for himself, just in case the FED/Treasury actions do "work"

    Debt Deflation Confirmation

    Today Eric Janszen offered his take on deflation in Flow of Funds Q4 2008: Debt Deflation confirmation.

    Buried in the details of yesterday’s quarterly Fed Flow of Funds report is the collapse of the private credit market in Q4 2008 and attempts by the Federal Reserve and Treasury Department to compensate for the loss with government credit as the world's largest lender of last resort.

    Debt growth levels declined in all sectors except US Federal. Household debt turned negative.

      no problemo, senior spart. mish is catching on... ten years late. when the inflation hits, what will he call it?

      with oil over 50 bucks, he's getting neeeeervous! :eek:
