Regardless of political leanings this is just plain hilarious. An example of the perils of picking a bad branding logo.

guess now i'm feeling like woody does (or did) when he was complaining about (some of) the 'in crowd' - of the usual dozen or so posters - 'shouting' him down all the time - tho i didnt always agree with his take on things, i always respected his vast historical knowledge/perspective and his right to say his piece, which he ALWAYS did - quite eloquently, convincingly and persuasively at that (sincere compliment, woody)

oh and BTW - i AM a 'decent guy', a 'nice guy' even - or so i've been told - who'd rather rant/rave, scream/holler via the typed word - than break things and hurt people - one who has been more or less wiped out - emotionally as much as financially - by the political/PC economy of the last 8 years - there sure as hell hasnt been ANY 'recovery' for a lot of us (middle aged white guys, as in: 'the mancession' is still going strong) - tween obozo care wiping out the job market (for us middle aged white guys), with ZIRP, in particular - wiping out my formerly profitable small biz -

while watching, HOPING for any sign of 'justice' being delivered unto the criminal class of lwr manhattan?

all we get is MORE CORRUPTION from the likes of slimeball carpetbagging opportunists such as the hitlery & obozo show.

and if that comment somehow makes me 'racist and sexist' ?

maybe one should consider joining the delicate snowflake club and crawling into their safe space.

      ta ta!

Lektrode - sadly,- people forget that when there is no opposition you lose freedom.

Regularly, I tell me kid its important that political discussion be intense and vigorous.

Today the sophomoric attack is that dissenters are angry, insane, and other simplistic responses.

Lektrode - keep up the fight - Sadly, you cannot argue with People who read only their party lines. The coverage of the over reach of power on the Labor Relations Board was non-existent, the only on-air report that the Orlando terrorist was employed as a security guard for a company that is paid by the United States of America was on Bloomberg Asia.

The NLRB story was the best pro-labor news in recent memory. It's funny to me you call it overreach considering how anti-labor the Labor Relations Board generally turns out to be. I look forward to the day when the Wagner Act is restored and the odious Taft-Hartley exemptions are rolled back (but won't hold my breath). Then talk to me about overreach.

You hang in there, Lek. We SOBs gotta stick together or else they'll take us out one by one, durn liburuls.

Has anyone seen the Simpon's episode where Kodus and Kang run for office?
I feel like this is our overlord's selecting two of the worst possible candidates,
and seeing how we the people enjoy ingesting the s**t sandwich.

Once we swallow this one, the next election will be even worse, now that
this experiment has proven so successful. it really doesn't matter
who is running as long as they get to make the rules and their silly little puppets dance to their
instructions. Perhaps an incompetant, aloof, corrupt and bloated government, leads to some
              kind of perverted Nash Equilibrium.

Sorry for this downer of a post, but this situation is making me sick.

This will set off a sh!tstorm.

Reliable intelligence sources in the West have indicated that warnings had been received that the Russian Government could in the near future release the text of email messages intercepted from U.S. Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s private e-mail server from the time she was U.S. Secretary of State. The release would, the messaging indicated, prove that Secretary Clinton had, in fact, laid open U.S. secrets to foreign interception by putting highly-classified Government reports onto a private server in violation of U.S. law, and that, as suspected, the server had been targeted and hacked by foreign intelligence services.

this would imply that the russians prefer trump. aside from trump and putin's mutual/self admiration [they're two of a kind, so i don't think you separate the "mutual" from the "self"] i'm not sure about what's in it for the russians. any thoughts?

similarly, it's possible they don't have what they say they have, and they're just stirring the pot.

Who can say it even comes from Russia? Could be any number of states or non-state actors. Could be an inside job from one of our own many cloak and dagger outfits. Impossible to say at this point.

If it happens and it is as damaging as one would expect, the GOP would go apesh!t. If despite it all HRC still squeaks through, she would be an incredibly weak President. The GOP would very likely keep the House and begin crafting articles of impeachment on January 21st 2017. So what's a girl to do but launch European war.

Woodsman, if the hacked files show the DNC was plotting against Bernie there will be a huge problem for HRC.

I'll never understand it. It's like they're the kamikaze party when it comes to gun control. Total loser electorally, plays right into the hands of the GOP elites (fundraising gold), and scares the crap out of the low information populists into getting out and voting. Obama actually learned from his "bitter clingers" experience and was the first Democrat in recent memory to try and avoid the issue, but damn if old habits die hard.

They are handing this thing to Trump on a silver platter. So dumb.

One thing is probably for sure, the "Russian hack" was the DNC hacking itself to get the Trump opposition research out in the wild. Classy, but I look forward to seeing Mr. Stone's counter move.

The Connecticut Democrat Senator filibustered on passing a bill to prohibit anyone on the no fly list from buying a gun. Sounds reasonable. It turns out the Republicans have a similar bill which would do the same but also have due process for someone on the list who may have been put there by a mistake. What's wrong with this approach? Can't the Democrats compromise to pass the Republican bill, which seems reasonable.

Of course the Democrats want to politically use the Orlando attack and others, but the Republicans are killing them on the terror threat, which unfortunately is becoming more common in the west.

                                A few points:

                                1. We should not lose sight of the fact that since the advent of the Internet, all SoS have used their own personal servers because the Federal government has such crappy systems no one wants to use them. Clinton's "abuse" is no where near the top if one believes any of this behavior is an abuse of power.

                                2. Putin may be an egotist but he's also a very smart politician and the last thing he wants is an egotistical amateur politician running the US. If Trump thinks he has a friend in the East, he's a bigger idiot than even I think he is.

                                3. Agree. How do you get Clinton to pay attention? Pretend to be Trump's friend. Trump is sales fodder.
