Mega’s 1st month @ “Fightclub”
Well its been a tough 4 weeks at “Fightclub”….its been very hard work. A number of times I asked myself will I ever crack it?........the job I mean.
The training team has been trying (with mixed results) to teach us a very complex data run process called “G-vok”. I can’t tell you why we do this, but basically its taking data from written reports & other data bases & unloading the information on to the data base we use.
It’s a bitch!.........for a start there are 47 steps to follow, more if things go wrong or if one of you data bases times out & you need to log back in again. The system can & does just stop working for no reason we can make out (F**king IBM!).
If you are not “I T” type guy its not fun I assure you. Our training staff decide not to give us ANY written instructions & only with the help of one of us (Bob) who “got it” & wrote out a flow chart explaining the moves………which we used to help us & the training staff have now “signed off” for class use (Gee thanks guys).
I am in the bottom 10%, although I made a large improvement in the last week or so (since I got Bob’s crib sheet). Next week I join my operation team, I got to meet my line manger & she is “not nice”.
Has allsorts of “health issues” which meant she was quite unable to return my smile or handshake ………”going off for afew weeks, someone else will deal with you”…..Nice.
Now on to the important stuff, the females.
Mostly fat & un-shag-able, a few nice ones but too young & too well paid to be bribed into bed. There a few “may be” types…….
One poor fat (my god she be great if she lost 3-5 stone) types was kicking off that “only strange types” were e-mailing her & the nice guys didn’t e-mail her (Dating site).
I thought about explaining to her that if she wants a “nice guy” then she need to make a choice, either have the Hershey bars or him inside her, not both……….but I though I was in enough troubles.
