Mike...we get to have deflation for a while as people move their money to cash, and the price of oil remains relatively steady. The world hasn't crashed yet...9/17 is a possibility, of course, but with the whole world being aware that printing must go on to just keep the markets calm, it could be a stock market crash in January with deflation for a while. That does not stop the essential problem of peak oil and the eventual debt crisis...both are inevitable. And for some reason I still keep seeing $900.00 gold, as that is what it will take to pay for the gold that get's mined every year in conjunction with silver.

As always the market can do weird things for much longer than we can necessarily survive it.

So, more information comes to light, and it looks worse and worse. Congress will just not deal with the economic situation. They obviously prefer a nice war...as if that helps.

Unfortunately, Obama continues to stage in Jordon and Turkey, both on the border of Syria...Russia, and China (First Time!) in the Mediteranean ready to stand against Obama...It could go to war after all, or Obama could just be puffing up his military capability, but Obama has also now waived a law that makes it a crime to aid terrorist groups, so I am less than sanguine.

Obama, if he moves on Syra, will be comitting treason in order to support the Muslim Brotherhood, but with the support of Boehner, McCain, and Lindsey, he might not get impeached.

I think no matter what, America is going to be taking a lot of big hits...world opinion, economically, and maybe even militarily.

WOW!!! I didn't know I could get that tense so quickly!!! Makes me want to know what happened in the movie! As for gold, nothing as bad as zeroing out can have happened today, but I'm sure sorry you are feeling that way!

I watched about half of it...skipping here and there...DW did a great job of disintegrating, and then catching himself back from the edge of cliff at the last moment...but that flying scene...unforgettable.
