Bit of a set back, she refused any visits today, she in intense pain & can't haddle us visiting.....it upsets me deeply to see her suffer like this but i guess its the path she must (for a short time) tread.

I am sorry to hear that, Mega. I am sure there will be many ups and downs in the recovery process, but it will be a road to mending and to good things in the future.

The first three days are usually the worst; often the third day after a surgery is the most painful. I think your mum is being intuitively smart to rest now and conserve her energy so she can heal faster.
