Mega’s dispatch from Blighty……….WITCH HUNT
Yes, there are few things the limey like to bitch about more then the weather. As a young man I used to wonder at how they piss on about it everyday, they never seem to get a perfect day….too Hot…too Cold….too dry…..too wet.
I often thought it might be something to do about the Empire? It was 70’s & that generation that thought God needed a hand in running the Planet however many natives died as a result were still about………
However the weather has taken something of a back seat right now, because something MUCH better to talk about, here in Blighty we have a full blown WITCH HUNT!!!!!
I am of course referring to the Jimmy Savile “scandal”, for those whom don’t know let me explain. Back in the 1970’s the BBC had a radio/TV presenter called Jimmy Savile…a strange looking guy, but with a magnetic personally…sort of a “Jim Jones” of BBC1. He ran “Top of the pops” (TV Chart show) & best remembered for his “Clunk, click…every trip” (Buckle up safety ad) & “Jim will Fix it” A tv show where he get kids on to the set of Dr Who or a meeting with the Prime Minster.
I say remembered, because Jimmy passed away last year, but that was only the start. The BBC keen to milk every last bit out Jimmy (even in death) put together a show of his work for Xmas………at the same time the BBC discovered that like many from the period “Free Love” Jimmy had his fair share, including some girls who might have not quite been 16 (British age of consent).
The BBC decide to kill the story, but with infighting raging with the BBC the story leaked out & all HELL BROKE LOSE!
It wasn’t hard to see why, the Politico’s are trying to not face facts the Blighty is in a state of collapse, far worst then the end of Empire even. The Press are up to their eye brows in Computer/Phone hacking……..the public was zeroed in on them, the flak was deadly & the surface-2-air missiles locked on to them….they needed to drop chaff & any decoy they could think of…..along came “Jimmy”.
Now, as a man in the World I been to a few party’s & there was one that sticks in my mind……Looking back I “Hope” she was 16……So when I see this nonsense building up I can totally understand how if you are a show biz person you are going to have allsorts of “Offers” & however careful you are a few are going to “Slip the net”.
I read the “allegations” & found them frankly sad…..female number 1 said:-
“We were kissing in his dressing room, then Jimmy asked how old I was..i told him 15, at which point he stopped kissing me, but agreed to meet me again when I was older”. “ Caught up with him a few months later (16+) & she slept together”.
Ok, So Jimmy popped the question, got a “Jail bait” warning, dropped the female right then…..the SHE chased him for months by which time was OVER 16 & had willing sex with him.
Ok you might disapprove on the grounds of taste or whatever….but it was legal & he didn’t rape her. However the floodgates are now open, sick sad fat middle-aged females whom seek attention & legal redress (free money from the BBC) are screaming that they were sexually molested by the now Dead (& unable to defend himself) Jimmy Savile & the BBC should have put a stop to it…even if they did throw themselves at Jimmy….& they were old enough to know better.
Now EVERYONE is Show biz in the 70’s/80’s is getting investigated……Oh FFS!
