The article specifically singles out the Fiat 500 as a winner. That doesn't square with the premiss of the article, but they do make some high end 500s.

I think they didn't loose money on the 500.........which is quite a trick for Fiat.
Fiat's boss sez he wants to hook up with the French (Pug/Citreon) & Germany (Opel).....GM is NOT keen.
