Yes.....it's common in a number of cultures for heterosxual adult male friends to hold hands.

It's strange at first...but you get used to it.

For me it was mostly 3rd-4th worlders....and it's always good to keep some steri-gel discretely handy :eek:

men (usually relatives but really close friends too) hugging, holding hands & affectionately fondling each other (not the crotch/groinal areas)publicly is not rare.

Freaked me out when uncles & nephews & cousins did it to me on my first visit. I knew to expect it but still ... jeez.
