  • I think a collapse of the credit based economy is becoming inevitable.

The situation is getting from bad to worst, all the lowering of interest rates and bailouts made in the last 18 months achieved practically nothing, and i'm starting to think that the Republicans already knew that nothing can be done so they pushed out an old man. Now having learned the reality, the Obama team is now stunned.

Be prepared. Make sure you got enough cash or gold stashed to last 12 months at least.

Great. Even if I did, I know my neighbors don't, and some of them are bigger than me.

I've got a great pistol. Lots of ammo, too. Unfortunately, I'm thinking many of them have pistols, too, as well as shotguns and other assorted nasty stuff. I don't live in the greatest area. It's been convenient for work and other things, but perhaps not the best place to be with rising unemployment.

We need a moat! And turrets with machine gun emplacements! And IEDs! And walls with chainsaws all around them!

Why don't we all just move to the Green Zone?

Sure, if it is outside. An inside dog will at least give you a warning and 15 seconds or more to make decisions.
