There goes Peter, shooting off his big mouth again (telling the darned truth! about our predicament to the furriners). The State Department must be squirming in their chairs and gnashing their teeth to hear this guy offer public lectures like this - in Saudia Arabia, in the Middle East, where some of our biggest treasury buyers are ???!!! Argh!! Why doesn't someone do something about this guy before he damages our fiscal security? Why doesn't someone from the Obama administration arrest this guy (they are wailing to each other) for damaging America's image and viability abroad?? :p :p :p

it's one thing to predict a treasury bond bubble and dollar crash, it's another to go on a foreign country lecture circuit to incite it.

I would tend to agree on that MM. Bit rash on his part. Maybe he's got a "jail-wish" like Papa had. Certainly at this acute juncture for the US it is astoundingly provocative and even foolish on his part - the guy's just a freaking humble stock broker ferchrissakes. But what on earth could they jail him for - "telling the truth"? Maybe he's just starved for approval so he rustled up some applause overseas while the press back home is roasting him.

now first i know you blokes are not-for profit...however i don't see much difference between telling it like it is on an international forum like this and going on a speaking tour! ??

Maybe the world needs to be tolld the truth everywhere rather than try to "well we'll tell the truth herer and we'll lie through our teeth there!"
