Ferrari showed us what happens when you reinvent the stop sign

The electronic system used for Ferrari pitstop in place of the traditional 'lollipop man' has come under heavy scrutiny from the FIA and faces the possibility of getting banned.
Felipe Massa saw the chances of a victory in the inaugural Singapore Grand Prix went up into thin air when he exited the Ferrari pit with the fuel hose still attached to his car. The pitstop light system is controlled by a Ferrari personnel whom Massa has refused to blame, saying that everyone makes mistakes and his crew was just trying to do his best.
Ferrari is the only team using this pitstop light system, while the rest of the 9 teams still use the 'lollipop man' method - having a mechanic stand in front of the car in the pitstop holding a sign that says "Stop" or "Go".
