    We_are_toast,

I'm afraid to say that you have no slight idea about what iTulip's owners and administrators have gone through this past hours when iTulip.com website was down due to BLUEHOST our former hosting company's decision without any prior notice on the late afternoon before the Thanksgiving, and CLOSED for the holiday!!!!!!

Agree with you. Timing could not be worse! It was beyond our control. We despise Bluehost.

iTulip's owners and administrators have stayed up, the past approximately 30 hours, with our technical resources to assist us with the move to a new web hosting company on short notice over the holiday, and brought the website back this morning for our readers.

The site access disruption lasted longer than otherwise because, among other reasons, Bluehost technical support was closed for the holiday.

Needless to say, we were unhappy to have to cancel our own holiday plans to deal with the crisis that Bluehost created for us and you, our valued customers.

WE HAVE WORKED SOOOOO VERY HARD TO KEEP ITULIP REDERS AND SUBSCRIBERS INFORMED. And sorry for any inconvenice this may have caused you.

We thank you all for your support and patience.

We need some sleep now and encouragingly kind words from our loyal members.

    Sincerely yours with many thanks,

before your "under repairs" notice was up, i thought you might really be gone for good. i knew i'd get by, but it would have left a mighty hole.

Itulip crew are superb. Providing a superb source of intelligence to the investor community worldwide - in the world's most critical hour in a half century (or longer). You are much admired.

Thanks for all the kind words and support, all. We're still not 100% in terms of function but are far better off in performance and reliability.

At least we can all rest assured you've got your best people on it. ;)

All I can say is, Thank God this happened over Thanksgiving when I was completely busy with family obligations. Had it happened any other time the withdrawal symptoms might have been so painful I would have jumped out the window.

Given that it is Thanksgiving, iTulip is definitely one thing I'm thankful for this year. Thanks, guys, and keep up the good work.

Even Elaine Supkis puts in a good word for Itulip

I remember that time well. Bush pushed for emergency tax cuts to ’save the economy.’ I was disgusted. Clinton and the GOP, due to hating each other and snarling up Washington, DC’s massive debt machine, balanced the budgets for the first time since President Kennedy. It was obvious, by 1999, the US was in the middle of a very disastrous and energetic inflow of foreign funds driving up stocks. iTulip.com was launched in 1999 during the Dot Com stock market madness.
iTulip is a great way to find information that seems to be obscured from the eyes of the Three Marketeers:

                let's all respond to...

                Bluehost Inc.
                1215 N. Research Way, #Q3500
                Orem, UT 84097

                or call...

                Telephone:
                Main Line: 888-401-4678
                Outside the U.S: 801-765-9400

                tell 'em how you feel!

I did... and I also both emailed many friends and acquaintances in IT to tell them what happened, and also created a negative entry on my blog with links to this thread. I urge anyone with IT contacts or a blog to do something similar.

Bluehost.com is not worthy of being in business, let alone offering web hosting. The best part of it will be how heinous actions like theirs will eventually recoil on them, hopefully soon (and they've already had a blown upgrade this weekend and many sites getting 503 errors - if you want "professional Web Hosting plans including all the features you are looking for at the best possible price" and especially like down time and heinous treatment, then try bluehost.com).

Great job iTulip geeks, nerds and others that helped - well done for service and care well above and beyond!
