I could be wrong, but it seems most all banks that have entered this phase have gone bust.

Wachovia dropped from $10 to . . . gone . . . in pre-trading on the day of it's announced merger with none-other than . . . Citi!

I guess Citi has suffered for not getting those juicy Wachovia deposits - including my own.

This must be what happens when you put a hedge fund manager in charge of a bank. Would anybody be surprised if it was discovered that Citi insiders were shorting their own company?
