Well, ... that is normal behavior. In times of crisis the masses are always distracted by a directly or indirectly government sponsored campaign against a false enemy with a face. The more a population is manipulated and misinformed the more aggressive is the discrimination.

The interesting thing is that it is ILLEGAL to refuse someone based on religion or race. I always thought you could refuse a customer as a private business owner for any reason at all. Thanks for this vid!

The BJP/RSS are very culpable in these kinds of outrages. It was used as a vote getting ploy -- It typically works once or twice -- but doesn't work again -- witness the election results that got the Congress/Left alliance to power in 2004 -- didn't work then!

The BJP/RSS are trying failed tactics once again -- trying to rally their core support. But it is unlikely to work again -- of course in the meantime much misery and angst is caused.

Yeah, that's what the civil rights movement was about. No more "White Only" signs, etc. It's interesting the breakdown of the bystanders: 31% supported her rights, 15% were blatant bigots, and 54% said nothing. In this situation, I think saying nothing is a tacit endorsement of the bigotry.

My wife sat next to two holocaust survivors from Poland on a recent plane ride. The man had been 14 at the time of the invasion. He lied about his age to get into the adult work area and avoid immediate death with all the young children. He collected cigarette butts to trade for bread. The woman was born in the concentration camp and taken from her mother, but miraculously they were reunited after the war.

They returned to Poland a few years ago to find that anti-semitism is still very alive there.

Exactly this is what I was trying to say. In every country the percentage of idiots is roughly constant. This kind of stuff happens only when governments are directly or indirectly misleading their own people. The more powerful is government control over braindead sheeple the stronger is the inter racial/national/religious/sexual-orientation/whatever-kind-of-difference hate.

What happens now to muslims in US is, IMHO, a direct result of US government actions.

This kind of things cannot happen if people are not stupid or even if they are stupid but not under the control of government propaganda.

Can you imagine what would have been the reaction if the producers of the clip with the muslim girl have tried to pull the same stunt in a bakery in Berkley, or in a Starbucks in Seattle, or even in another place in America where Obama has a strong political stronghold?

Remember shyte like this happens only when you have: [dumb people] AND [under the control of government propaganda].

If you have at least dumb people under the control of non-government propaganda ... nada... zilch ...

Now, if Obama proves to be just another deceiver/politician in the pocket of CFR/Wall Street, who can play dirty (if ordered to do so by his puppet masters), how difficult would it be to transform these kids in an American version of Bajrang Dal?...."service, safety, and culture!"...;)

This may actually have been the most important part of Powell's endorsement of Obama. He quite eloquently said that the direction in which the GOP has taken this election, allowing for the ant-Islamic and anti-Arab innuendo to continue threatens the very fabric of American democracy.

Just think before the Holocaust we had books with the title, "Judaism Unmasked", now we have a series of books with titles like "Islam Unveiled." The spread of the movie "Obsession" should make us all afraid.
