I'm just sitting here reading Itulip's Message Boards and Bernacke and his minions cut rates by a half point. All of the commentators have an orgasm as futures move from negative to highly positive. They will now peddle products that have reduced underlying values because they are priced in reduced dollars! Welcome to the Bloomberg Shopping Network.
I'm waiting for the next commercial that will peddle collector coins. The problem for me, the sucker, is that the cheezy mint is now selling 24kt gold plate metal coins, not 24kt gold plate silver coins and certainly not 24kt gold coins. Oh the pain.
3 or 4 years from now, I'll turn Bloomberg Shopping News back on and I'm sure they'll have commercials peddling the real medal, priced in real {insert unknown new reserve note}.
