  • 4-bit images, 2-bit critic

In recent iTulip editorials, the headline photos have been 4-bit posterized, which results in a blocky, blotchy, somewhat surreal image.

Are you doing this intentionally for artistic effect, or did your MacBook Pro break and you've gone back to an Apple IIc?

Seriously I haven't seen images this low-depth since I was dialing up BBS services on my Tandy 1000.

It's intended to be our "look" along with pictures with captions.

What you are seeing are blurred and posterized images – on purpose!

I take it you no likey?

Yeah you know, everyone's a critic. I prefer the funny ones with captions.
