can they ignore the recent shorting?
They pretty much HAVE TO, or try to whitewash it in some way
- if they move against these shorts, what possible justification can there be to NOT move against the other shorts, which have been several times the size of the new shorts?
I'm guessing that the response will be thundering, deafening, and complete SILENCE
Putting myself in the position of the new shorts, if COMEX/CFTC tried to "discipline" me in any way I'd go to court & drag in all of Butler's articles - I'd demand discovery on the trading patterns of the existing shorts (if the commodity court follows the same rules as FRCP) all of that data is discoverable - I'd tell the court that if those trading patters are legal, I want to find out why they are legal & mine are not.
