Is it just me in my ever-increasing age, or does anyone else experience things turning to shit with regard to functionality of websites on the internet?
1. I use a trading platform by Schwab called StreetSmartPro which I am sure is much more sophisticated than I am, but for three days now some of the quotes I follow are screwed up. I gave them Friday thinking it'd be fixed over the weekend, but it wasn't on Monday, so I wrote and noted the problem, thinking no one there was aware of it. Reply said they were working on it. Today, day 3, still screwed up. Why can't someone fix it? Are people responsible for maintenance and repair incompetent?
2. Online.wsj.com. Today no advance decline data or nuhi nulo data for NYSE. Same question as above.
3. Tried to play EJ's interview on CNBC last night. Crashed my browser x 2.
4. Numerous losses of connection today to the internet which at my level of expertise, I'm thinking is due to AT&T being screwed up someway.
5. How often recently can you not access iTulip: server busy.
6. Barron's from week to week keeps screwing with pages I have imported for years into spreadsheet. Some fool there keeps screwing with page formatting so data imports don't hit target cells in my spreadsheet.
My general attitude is that we have arrived at a level of possible high functionality that is exceeding the abilities of those responsible to make things work as they are conceived of being capable of working.
