How to treat the environment is all about ideology, it was ideology as soon as humans began to fabricate instead of living in the world.

If you live in New York or any other metropolitan city you live in an almost 100% fabricated world minus perhaps some Geraniums on your desk.

Perhaps the pope should study the story of Eden a bit more.
