Falling debris in Financial District
A chunk of Toronto's Financial District was blocked from traffic for the morning rush hour after concerns of falling debris.
The Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CM-T) building lost a slice of its sign, which came darting down from the building's top to the street. Emergency workers sectioned off the bustling intersection of King and Bay Streets late Wednesday for fear that more of the sign may become detatched.
High winds, which slapped the city yesterday, are being blamed for the damage.
