My sentiments exactly. I exploded on my wife and that hurt my marital situation. I have learned to cope by having fun with the situation. I will play games and take their side, but do the opposite. I feel like Obama and that is really not healthy.

Why, after reading that, do I feel a need to visit In-N-Out Burger?

Not sure how well this stuff will go over as comfort food south of the 49th though...

thanks Luke ... made me laugh a bit a feel less alone in my views of my own work environment ... but now I'm starting to think those chest pains I have during the workday are not indigestion

Well, if you go way south of the 49th, you finally run into Paula Deen who has to be the undisputed queen of comfort food. Her southern cooking creations are to die for

Vinoveri - I had some tightness in the chest in the last year. Doc checked me out and said it was plain old stress.

Now I am taking long walks in the evenings (swim a lot too), and I'm starting to feel fine and relaxed again. Watch out for the persistent idiots though. The only way to handle them is to laugh. You have got to laugh, and laugh some more. 90% of the time laughing can put you on the healthy side of any situation, and likely affects good outcomes too.
