Bullhorn 101: Massive Taliban attack in Kabul today

Can you find any coverage of this on television? I don't see it on CNN, MSNBC or Fox News.

All I see on the cable infotainment networks are Republican debate and Monday Night Football highlights.

The Taliban claims responsibility for the strike in the heart of the Afghan capital, saying 'heavy casualties' have been inflicted. The attack with rockets and automatic weapons appears to center on the well-fortified 'green zone,' where the U.S. Embassy and the headquarters of NATO forces are housed.

The story is on the front page of CNN: http://www.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/asiapc...html?hpt=hp_t2

What I find odd is that CNN highlights the most important stories in larger headings with photos on the front page. The Kabul attacks are listed in the small sub-heading 'Latest News'. Kinda seems like it should be one of the top stories, huh.

I heard about it on NPR this morning. There were only a handful of deaths reported, but the attacks were in the "greener" zone of the city. It is news, but until there are dozens of deaths, it ain't all that important to a newspaper.
