Two points Mike:

The phenomenon of women getting engaged, even marrying guys on death row, is just a part of our rich Americano Culture. (People will do anything here for publicity) I don't see that as your motivation, though I could be wrong. Tell us it ain't so.

Secondly, would you consider an American, good looking 30-something, originally from the Ukraine. Been here for about 4 years. Things didn't work out with her mail-order husband. (Perhaps you could think of her as having been laundered- like the respected TBTFs do with some of their revenue streams) Warning: a subsistence life style is what's she leaving, not what she's looking for. An asset portfolio may be required.

Lots of my male US friends (married and single) want an Asian GF - not American with Asian ancestry/genetics, but actually Asian - culturally and genetically.

they used to dream about Europeans (Swedes, Suomi, Teutons), but that's so 1990s.
