      Propaganda?
Fear mongering by the MSM ?
At the time, persuading Europe to flow was easy game.
Though, reading the article I find myself thinking tin foil hat ... Back to read it a second time (and bookmark the page). Thanks for posting.

        1. Everybody believes in the gov't managed fiat currencies and is afraid of PM-based money (difficult to manipulate).

So, no military threat is necessary.

P.S. This year I went to Ukraine and talked to some local folks. Try to persuade them to pull their $avings from under the mattress and exchange whatever $US they have to the local currency, or even Euro. They will die laughing.
        It's actually simpler than that...

Everyone from China to Chile continues to benefit from the status quo of a US Dollar reserve currency, so no one has any incentive to change it. In fact it would appear that the US can push the limits of abusing the Dollar and continue to count on every other Central Bank in the world to continue to lend support to it. It's a great gig, non?

the USA has over 6000 nuclear reason to backup the dollar and the Saudis and others are content to keep the oil sales in $ so long as they can still buy their toys.

"I believe one of the goals of the swine flu vaccine is depopulation."

Ms. Fitts on the swine flu vaccine.

I believe that the interview is mainly nonsense wrapped in a few facts.

Stupidity, propaganda, pure and simple... The rest of the world is on the same standard... Who made the rest of the world accept it?

Propaganda, yes. Stupidity, perhaps some, but I think the truth lies more in the people or masses are simply duped. Most people are not out to rule the world and are reflexively honest and would do "the right thing" when given a choice. These traits are opposite those who do want power over others and are willing to use whatever means to accomplish their ends, and who know how to spin whatever they want into "the right thing".

These individuals of the masses, reflecting their good-nature innocence (what the wolves call naivete), believe what they are told b/c they assume those doing the telling are just like them, good-willed, honest, fair, not out to do anyone harm, etc. .... If this is stupidity than I'd like to live in Stupidsville.

A corollary of that is a number of people don't want to know. They have the wherewithal to understand a disturbing insight but consciously fence it out of their world view. Think of it as secular faith. Quite separate from the fear factor.

Quote from Smedley Butler (1935) - same racket just different toys and methodologies.

"I spent 33 years and four months in active military service and during that period I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism. I helped make Mexico and especially Tampico safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of Wall Street. I helped purify Nicaragua for the International Banking House of Brown Brothers in 1902-1912. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for the American sugar interests in 1916. I helped make Honduras right for the American fruit companies in 1903. In China in 1927 I helped see to it that Standard Oil went on its way unmolested. Looking back on it, I might have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he could do was to operate his racket in three districts. I operated on three continents."
