While it's good for a laugh, I certainly don't hope any more silly conspiracy theories gain much traction.

BP killing the planet with a methane bubble, President Obama being a birth certificate-less AQ double agent, and their ilk distract joe six pack from far less exciting but far more real and painful problems that are largely unreported.
