It's baffled me that despite all the indignities Americans have suffered the past few years, we've failed to take to the streets.

If we push too hard, too fast, we risk being marginalized as anarchists, militants, conspiracy nuts or far right crack pots, thereby providing the establishment an excuse (as if they need yet another) to crank up the surveillance and tyranny and to discredit the malcontents (us.)

So for now I am inclined more toward doing what I can to better understand matters and help others to do the same.

...It is getting to the point where it doesn't pay to run a small business anymore...

And this is just what the big coprporations want on two counts.
First, another small business quits competing with them. Second, the blame goes to others.
