  • China morphing to zombieland sign of bubble burst or economic goldilocks?

For the recent 3 weeks, almost every other day we got reports of mad people killing kindergarten and young school children, and we know that for every 1 reported news in China, there maybe another 10 that goes unreported.

Question is whether this is a sign of bubble bursting or economic goldilocks?

Guns are prohibited in China. Even carrying a machete in a city can get a person arrested, so the killings must be done using kitchen knives. It takes madness to go round plunging a kitchen knife into bodies of young children repeatedly.

Since we don't see this happening in depression Florida or Spain, so could this be a sign of economic goldilocks where people go insane because of too much prosperity?

From the rapid scan of the last three weeks news items, it appears to me that there may be some truth to Sue Rosenthal's observations on the mental health effects of income disparity during perceived times of prosperity.

It appears that some of the alleged killers were unemployed and disgruntled, and the last one was the landlord of the school involved in a rent dispute with the school. I suspect that the last individual may have overleveraged himself by endebting himself to the gills in an attempt to acquire property -- and hence the rent dispute may very well be hurting his ability to service the debt.

Sue Rosenthal's book - SICK and SICKER and her book POWER and Powerlessness address some of the issues you raise. The second book is downloadable free -- though I suspect that the first book may address your issues in somewhat more detail.
