I put this poll in Rant and Rave because I doubt that it is consistent with the mainline iTulip positions. It seems to me that the primary question over the next few years is whether the Dollar in its role of the world's Reserve Currency will collapse into some sort of G20/IMF/BIS fiat construct (son of SDR's) or whether it will collapse directly into gold and silver. For those less Doomerish than myself, I'll add a couple of more options: the Dollar is still the world Reserve Currency in five years, and none of the above. By the "World Reserve Currency" I mean that in which the majority of oil contracts are written and that which is most widely held as Reserves by Central Banks.

Will the Reserve Currency Dollar collapse into SDR-like paper, into gold, or will it hold?
