Re: Upgrade Is A Value Judgment

    Hello! Fred!

What the heck is this? I can't even get into my own forum!

    Sorry...

I have had similar messages lately, but they correct themselves in a little while.

          1) My remarks were directed to Fred.

          2) That doesn't make it all right. I was attempting to post time-sensitive material.

This #$%*&^$ software is buggier than a marsh on a hot summer night.

Sir Eric appears to have lost interest in this website, no?

If we jump into the daily noise, we can't keep our perspective. To help keep you all oriented:

Stocks remain 24% below the point where we said to get out in Dec. 2007, for those who were not around in March 2000 when we got out originally.

Gold is up 140% since then versus -30% for stocks.

If this disappointments anyone, I don't know what to say.

As for the web site, we have 100 attempts a day to break in. One break in and we're sunk. If a few bugs come with the upgrades, so be it.

Depending on your definition, some of those might be me.

I've noticed that the routine which obscures passwords being typed in is apparently last-loading.

If I type too quickly from login to password using the 'tab' button, I always wind up with both a non-obscured password and a failed login. It is so bad that I've managed even to lock myself out for 15 minutes this way - that time even the obscured password wasn't enough; apparently the transfer from login-password field to authentication is even later in the queue.

Although it's impossible for us to know exactly why you've encountered the problem without knowing the details of your computer and internet settings, but it is possible an ISP, Cookie and/or Cache issues due to highly secured, and therefore highly sensitive, new forum software.

                  Tips:
                  1. Type slowly ;)
                  2. Check the " Remember Me?" (beneath the User Name box) when you log in.
That should work better, especially if you are on an ISP that is constantly changing IP addresses (such as: AOL), as long as you are not blocking cookies.
                  3. Email our support at: forum@itulip.com for assistance and they'll take good care of you..

I hope you'd agree that we need to conserve our energies - emotions and feelings for what we're going to make the big things in lives instead of letting so much run away on the little things everyday.
