I joined the Air Force many years ago for even more coercive reasons. My draft lottery number was too low to keep me out of military service. But the time I spend in the Air Force served me well and I served the Air Force well and honorably. That is sufficient in its own accord.
And you probably are a better man for it.

I believe a lot of men and women are performing very difficult jobs every day both within the United States and overseas. The same goes for her Allies.

An elitist asshole convinces the public of the necessity to send our poorest to die in foreign wars to protect the U.S. Empire. Then the asshole convinces the country that you can NEVER EVER QUESTION the military and their patriotism.

I'm not questioning your patriotism, or your right to question the military....what I am questioning is your elitist, biased and painfully ignorant view of what some of the roles and skillsets acquired in and used by the US Air Force as well as afterwards in civilian life are.

Badjuju asked for career advice. I think joining the military is bad for all sorts of reasons.
Unfortunately, your ability to convey your opinion is this particular case is as embarassing as it is wrong.

      You have a super day.
