Jon Stewart - is a great Entertainer - and great Entertainer tells the Audience what they want to hear. Stewarts core Audience (IMHO) hates Glenn Beck and tends to vote Democratic (some of my best friends LOVE Jon Stewart).
Tie this up with 'the Public Does Not yet know what the purpose of Gold is as an investment' and the current year long Market Rally - its the perfect Holiday package to boost ratings and make his audience feel good.
Few own Gold - so - tell the Audience that only Nut cases would own Gold - prime example - Glen Beck.

You read itulip and you understand whats going on - you are in the minority!

Meanwhile most of your fellow Stewart watchers are nodding their heads in agreement that Beck caused Gold to Rally.

Perhaps we'll know Gold is in the final bubble stage when Goldline is buying Advertising time during Jon Stewarts show !

I saw the segment last night. I'm not at all sure he was crediting Beck for the drive up in gold prices. I took it as blaming Beck for pushing gold so hard on his show while selling fear and ignorance, and at the same time being a paid spokesman for Goldline.

Glenn Beck is an Entertainer - if he isn't selling promoting - helping his advertisers make Money he is out of Business. Then Beck need to land a gig with NPR -the other favorite for fans of Jon Stewart - I think the odds of Beck being a regular on NPR is equal to the odds of Gold going to $700/ounce.

I suspect Mr Stewart as a case of Entertainers Ratings Envy?????

Is this the the same Jon Stewart who attacked Cramer and now he calls Beck a nut for trying to expose his audience to the importance of gold ownership?

He is a tool of the Fed knowingly or not.
