It's already cooler than it was. A month ago here in North Texas, temperatures frequently got up over 100 degrees F. Right now in the middle of my day it's just 80 degrees, though we still see some days up to 90.

It depends on where you are .. Apparently you are not in upper MI where the leaves have just started to turn colors and drop, a spotty frost hit about a week ago, and fall is on its way. Lows are in the high 40s and low 50s. By the autumnal equinox it will be cooler up here. In the south and even the central US I am sure the temps are still a bit warm.

I attended a gathering in Quebec City 10 days ago.

The wife and I flew into Boston , drove up through Edmunston then on to Quebec. We were about 2 weeks early for "leaf peeper" season I think.

Nice trip nonetheless.

Assuming this thread is about heating fuels, I'm not saying that anyone is running their systems yet, but it's been 50-60 degrees at night around here for three weeks. When the last blast of heat and humidity gives way to these dry and cool days, Autumn is creeping in. As usual we went from sweltering to positively San Francisco-esqe in a matter of hours and it's been that way ever since. August 27th ---------->

It's always warmer in summer, so people feel happier. As the weather cools, people feel sadder and there will be a stock market crash...

That's when seasonal flu usually peaks but swine flu seems to be a different animal. I've been reading that it should peak out in late October to mid-November where it's spreading so quickly.
