        DA, I see you reside in Panama... expat I presume? What's the safest and best bank to deal with down there? How easy is it to buy coins?

          I haven't had any luck with coins; there doesn't seem to be a market for bullion or collectables. You could have them sent by DHL or Fed Ex, I suppose.

          Most foreign banks have branches in Panama; it's a financial center. The best banks, according to my Panamanian friends, are the government banks and they don't have foreign customers.

          On the long list of poor choices: UBS has an office here. :eek: Lots of Citi, too. :eek::eek:
