  • X-files or Facts?

    http://www.infowars.com/bombshell-bi...-us-until-911/

Personaly, i dismissed all thoughts that 911 was "Black op"........then i read a book about the attack on the USS Libery.........Which was a Black op!

    Gulf of Tolken another.

What struck me was "They" were quite happy to kill the crew of the ship or start a bloody war in Asia for their resons.

Just look at the actions "They" take day to day....i wonder how long to "They" try a toal lock down?

We know the $ is falling, China/Russia are under attack by these SCUM.....how long till they wlip the rug from under the $ feet?

Next G20 could be "Fun" ;)

One thing i have noticed, they are hyping the "Flu" to strike about Sept/Oct......just about the same time we are likey to see a collaspe in the $.........are they planning something?

Mike, after following your commentaries on Utube for a while, I can attest that you are one hell of bright guy and a funny one at that.

Regarding the thread at hand; I also think that such posts should only appear in the Rant & Rave section.

If we allow this type of "entertainment" to stand next to better researched pieces, I am afraid it will reflect poorly on iTulip and its community and may even prevent the next bart, Finster, GRG55 & al. from joining in.

I think Sibel Edmonds is a lot more credible than many things that get posted as news around here.

court proceedings on her whistleblower claims have been blocked by the assertion of State Secrets Privilege

An internal FBI investigation, however, has concluded that she was fired after making "valid complaints".

Many of Edmonds' accusations have been corroborated by anonymous letters apparently written by FBI employees

I have noticed that tulipers are sceptical of the msm take on economic matters, yet when it comes to politics they are quick to cry "tin foil hat" at any contrary narrative.
Notice how we have long joke threads and food threads but anything challenging the nytimes narrative is banned. Interesting. There is definitely an editorial position here.

At some point there may be an intersection between the political narrative and the economy and we may want to be alerted to that.

                Re: X-files or Facts?

About Alex Jones, and Infowars.com I would critically evaluate the sources, and the logic of the argument, mesh it in with what I know of the world in my experience before I make my judgements.

I think, Jones brings an anti government bias to his reporting, and is more willing to allow viewpoints in his shows, where I would be extremely skeptical.

However, in the MSM, we get news items that are often regurgitations of the pamphlets of the Government and Corporate PR departments. These are often just as difficult or more difficult to detect, sift through and evaluate.

We know Alex Jones bias, and the broad brush he paints with. Do we know the MSM's biases and prejudices, and how they play? Are we willing to be just as critical with the news items we read in the NY Times?

As a Financial Times reporter once confided to me on a plane trip -- "I want to keep my job -- it pays my mortgages, and keeps food on the table" -- I toe the newspaper line -- even though I know that it may be untrue -- I want to keep my job -- if I am fired for not toeing the official line, I will be unable to get a job in the MSM again.

Consider the case of Gary Webb and his suicide.

"Gary's suicide was accomplished with two gunshot wounds to the head. In death Gary proved to be as determined and single-minded as he had been in life ... Here are the facts: Gary Webb fired two shots from a .38 caliber revolver into his own head. (A suicide) ... open and shut."

Raj, agreed but be careful when you call someone anti-govt...Alex jones is anti TYRANNY...there is a huge difference. Sometimes it is just a matter of timing to differentiate between a patriot and a terrorist.

                        Re: X-files or Facts?

Rajiv, when I click on a link and I see "infowars.com" in bold, next to prisonplanet.tv and survival seeds advertisements, I am simply turned off and frankly annoyed.

Now, I understand some people may appreciate this type of entertainment and that is fine with me. All I am saying is that let's contain such posts in the Rant & Rave section.

I believe that regardless of the article, a non-credible source remains that:an unreliable piece of entertainment and sadly a time-consuming experience which I try to get away from when browsing the otherwise well researched posts by members.

Now, I understand your high credibility as such, all of your posts are highly welcomed by this reader and reviewed carefully. This said, if you are willing to filter and comment on all of Mike's and/or infowars.com-related posts for authenticity I may just change my mind. ;)
