  • A little help please

I'm trying to find a post a least a month old. I tried searching, but none of the words come back with the results I am looking for.

The thread was a link to an article regarding the balance sheet of the Royal Bank of Scottland. How they went from profit to huge loss in one quarter. The article compared RBS with Apple, if that helps.

It was a funny piece as I remember it. Thanks.

Do you mean this thread: Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has crashed!?

    Scotland has one 't' ;)
Most folks are good; a few aren't.

      Thank you.
It might be the one. The links are gone.

I have a suggestion that might help you to access the articles, if you haven't tried it already. If you can remember any words, or better yet strings of words, in the articles, you might be able to find cached versions by searching on google or yahoo, even though the original is no longer available. I tried, but just "Royal Bank of Scotland" gives too many results to be useful.

Too bad Mega doesn't include at least a sentence quoted from the articles he links to.

        Good luck.

Thanks. Too many results as you say. I remember the gist was how shareholder equity got wiped out in one quarter.
