            This image conveys what should be the truth, but what is in fact not.

            there has been yet shown any limit to how much debt can be issued (and monetized) by the U.S. - recall Bernanke's speech referring to the "printing press".

            Why are long bond yield low?
            Why are currency values relatively stable?

            Maybe because these markets are not private. As EJ has pointed out, what we're witnessing is more driven by political machinations than economic reality.
