The Obama administration issued a mea culpa today on America's role in causing climate change, in a move to get the major economies working together on a global warming treaty.

I saw the story about that Air Force one flyover and laughed out loud. Especially the picture of the little jet fighter chasing it. Real good judgment there. And how much did that photo opportunity cost the taxpayer? Jtabeb, how much fuel one of those babies burn a minute?

Fing idiots at the FAA, DHS, Air Force, White House, Governor's and Bloomberg’s offices, they did not notify building security for anyone. Those supposed open lines of communication failed AGAIN and confusion won today just like 9/11.

There was sheer panic in New York and New Jersey today, many buildings were evacuated on both sides of the river as the planes circled a few times somewhere around 1,000 feet.

My pregnant wife had to make her way down over 40 flights of stairs, where reminiscent of 911 there was a log jam of people in the stairwell, and nobody knew what was going on other than they were planes on the way which was announced over the PA system by building security.


Here is a pic from Battery Park City, when you look out the window and see this and are told over the PA system planes are coming get out now how would you react?

"They (my own politics) are the logical product of a childhood spent among conservative Californian Republicans (this was before the meaning of 'conservative' changed) in a postwar boom economy. The with whom I grew up were interested in low taxes, a balanced budget, and a limited government. Haven't these guys ever heard of Photoshop? Instead of the multiple
tens of thousands that 'op' cost, plus all the fear, and don't forget all
that carbon pollution stuff, some guy on a PC could have done the whole
thing for like a few bucks.
